Ballet Dancer] Prize winning Work by 33 Men,” a show featuring paints and sculpture by a group of  Sarasota and Bradenton artists, is now on exhibit at the Hilton Leech Gallery. The exhibit represents the first time such a large number of the area’s top artists have been represented in one exhibition…. Award winning artists represented in addition were Jon Corbino—“Ballet Dancer,”…

 

“Galleries Sell Paintings,” Sarasota Herald Tribune Jan 1972 [ill. Ballet Dancer] Caption: The Galleries of Frank J. Oehlschlaeger offer paintings and sculpture by American and European artists. Since 1949 in Chicago, Mr. Oehlschlaeger had the oldest gallery in town dealing in contemporary American art. He has been on St. Armands for the past six years. Among works of American artists are those by Sarasotans Jerry Farnsworth, Helen Sawyer and the late Jon Corbino.
