Since 1949 in Chicago, Mr. Oehlschlaeger had the oldest gallery in town dealing in contemporary American art. He has been on St. Armands for the past six years. Among works of American artists are those by Sarasotans Jerry Farnsworth, Helen Sawyer and the late Jon Corbino.
